Article on SIRDEP’s Strategic Planning Process Featured in VSO Cameroon Publication

SIRDEP is happy to announce that Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) Cameroon’s Program Office Press (CPOP) featured an article on SIRDEP’s strategic planning process in its April edition.  The article provides an overview of how SIRDEP links thoughtful strategic thinking with disciplined implementation. 

It also provides an example of how an identified organizational need is carried forward through the assessment, planning, implementation, and review phases.  Finally, the article calls for a greater emphasis on strategic thinking surrounding organizational development.  The article can be accessed here: CPOP- April Edition

The Society for Initiatives in Rural Development and Environmental Protection (SIRDEP) is non-governmental, not-for-profit making organization in Cameroon head quartered in Bamenda. SIRDEP has a multi-disciplinary team of experienced agronomists, agro-economists, livestock technicians, rural engineers, and natural resource management experts who work together to foster positive, sustainable development. SIRDEP was founded in 1992 and is one of the oldest indigenous NGOs in the North West Region of Cameroon.
