The 2012 Edition of BftW Partners’ Newsletter Published

SIRDEP has made public the 2012 edition of the Bread for the World (BftW) Partners’ Newsletter. The 16 page publication has articles in the areas of:
• Women Empowerment;
• Conflict Transformation;
• Sustainable agriculture;
• HIV & AIDS Prevention;
• Job Creation;
• Promoting Primary Health Care;
• Mitigating Gender Based Violence.
In this edition, all partners of BftW in Anglophone Cameroon have articles in their areas of intervention and more especially the impacts of their activities in the various communities. The articles are enriched with testimonies from some beneficiaries. The Newsletter, which was published in August 2012 is an annual publication edited by SIRDEP who is the Transfer of Function Consultant of BftW in Anglophone Cameroon. Copies can be obtained free of charge from SIRDEP’s Head Office in Ntarikon-Bamenda or from any of BftW current partners in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.


The Society for Initiatives in Rural Development and Environmental Protection (SIRDEP) is non-governmental, not-for-profit making organization in Cameroon head quartered in Bamenda. SIRDEP has a multi-disciplinary team of experienced agronomists, agro-economists, livestock technicians, rural engineers, and natural resource management experts who work together to foster positive, sustainable development. SIRDEP was founded in 1992 and is one of the oldest indigenous NGOs in the North West Region of Cameroon.
